Maria Winfield

Hello, my name is Maria Winfield. I’ve been a teacher at Liberty Montessori Academy Montessori for more than five years. I have experience teaching traditional Pre-K Class and Montessori class. I enjoy teaching because it gives me the opportunity to witness and participate in the process of guiding young children from the toddler stage to fully prepared school-age students.

When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband and three teenage children. I also enjoy being involved at my church helping to share the Gospel with visitors and new members.

Carolina Montalvo

My name is Carolina Montalvo and I am from Salvador. I graduated from high school in my country and I have been working with children for 12 years. I enjoy working with children and watching and helping them to learn and grow. In my spare time I love to spend time with my family.

Enedinna Parra

Hi, my name is Dina and I was born in Peru. I am proud to be a part of the Liberty Montessori Academy Montessori Team. I have a true passion for working with our youngest learners and helping them progress in all areas of their development-academic, social, language, and motor.

In my spare time I love to watch movies, go to church, and take nice long walks.

Bandana Pokharel

My name is Bandana Pokharel. I am from Nepal. I went to college in my hometown in Nepal and studied BA. I have been involved in early childcare almost all my life. I have been in this industry for more than 30 years and preschool has always been my area of expertise. Initially I joined preschool out of boredom as both my kids were going to school in 1990. Then I started loving the kids I worked with and wanted to make it my career. I love the innocence of these little children I work with as they let me be like them when I am with them. I get to forget that I am an adult and become carefree for the moment I am with them. I am at peace with these little ones. I also taught yoga to elementary age groups for 15 years.

In my spare time I like to spend time with my granddaughter and my family.

Katilin Hernandez

My name is Katilin Hernandez, an assistant teacher at Liberty Montessori Academy. I joined this wonderful community 5 months ago and have been actively involved in all classes, providing support to our dedicated teachers. Equipped with a high school diploma and internship experience in teaching, I am passionate about continuing my learning journey alongside the children. My ultimate goal is to contribute to their growth and expand their knowledge in the best possible way. I am grateful for the warm acceptance into this family that we have built here at Liberty. I look forward to connecting with each and every one of you and working together to create an enriching environment for our students.

Elizabeth Aguilar Montano

I am Elizabeth Aguilar Montano, a proud member of the Liberty Montessori Academy team. I have dedicated the past 9 months to this institution, serving as a teacher assistant. Working with children of different ages brings me immense joy and fulfillment. My passion for teaching and nurturing young minds has led me to continuously learn and grow in my role. Shopping and spending quality time with friends are activities that bring me joy during my free time.

Maira Guadalupe Castillo Bermudez

My name is María Guadalupe Castillo Bermudez but my family and friends call me Lupita. I am originally from El Salvador, Central America. I love sea and enjoy beach activities such as fishing and watching sunsets. I also enjoy photography. Recently, I joined the Liberty Montessori Academy as an assistant teacher. I have the privilege of working with children aged 12 to 18 months. It brings me immense joy to mention that my own 19-month-old daughter attends the daycare here. Witnessing her happy and thriving experience has been very rewarding. Even though my time with the Liberty is relatively short, I have been warmly welcomed into the team. I am eager to dedicate myself fully to learning and growing every day.

Giselle Lopez

I am Giselle Lopez, and am honored to be a part of the Liberty Montessori Academy this year. As the Pre-Kindergarten teacher, I am excited to embark on this journey with your children and get to know each and every one of them. My goal is to create a classroom community where your child feels welcome, safe and excited to learn!
